Two toads were married and along came a frog with frog croakings. The frog decided his croakings were just what two toads needed. The toads gave the frog their hearts and minds. With goggle-eyed thankfulness the toads eventually wanted to be like the frog. So the toads left their tree and went to live in the frog pond.

The toads eventually had little toads which eventually were eaten by the snakes in the pond. So the toads decided they no longer wanted pond-life, but before they could leave, the snakes ate them too. The frog that croaked kept croaking for all to come to the pond. Eventually the frog was eaten also. The snakes are now fat and happy.

Will Angels Make Appearance?

i think wt uses the word "channel" in reference to supernatural messages from jehovah.

wrong: channeling is wrong according to jw and is only divination or such from demonic sources.. channeling is not used in connection with "good messages".

that is just described as "utterances from god/jehovah" or some such wording and is approved without any particular terminology.

That site is dealing with confessions and doctrines of the Church Age which is over. Those discussions and comments are the same old thing, depending on which salvation plan is being touted. The Primary thing now is understanding a "total concept": That of our being in the great tribulation time, and what God is telling us about it, and what we should do.

The hidden mysterious truths now available to us that were sealed and hidden away from Daniel and the church age are now available to true believers that are listening to the Bible; however, they do need a source of sharing and reference in the Lord, but OUTSIDE the church arena. That web site is total church orientated.

A lot of things of knowledge and understanding have and are being unsealed during this end-time, and they replace much of the Age of the Church foundational believe systems. The knowledge sealed away from Daniel, they know not about. The true believer does know as s/he listens to the Bible.

senator barack obama has seemingly come out of nowhere to be the front-runner in the 2008 presidential election.

christians all over this country are asking questions, such as "who is barack obama?

", "what are his values?

You might consider this regarding your choices. As a true believer, I consider my citizenship to be in heaven. I am looking down upon the world while seated with Christ. The things of this world just have no interest to me any more.

Christ said his kingdom was no part of the world, and I feel the same way in my heart and mind. I do, however, find it interesting the drama / theatrics of the political area. Then I reason, they seem to have no clue at all what is scripturally happening now and is to come so very soon.

I looked at the beliefs / stands of Obama and McCain as to abortion and gay marriage. I found Christian guidelilnes in their thinking did not show at all in these arena. I noted some bible trained morality in Sarah Palin.

Jesus is NOT an angel

jesus is not an angel!.

the bible says that none of the angels is anything like jehovah (yahweh).

(see psalm 89:6) it also teaches that angels are merely servants sent forth to serve god and help god's people.. but, the bible teaches that jesus christ is exactly like jehovah, shares his nature, and that jesus is far above all angels, and that jesus is the one who created all angels for his own glory, and god commands all of the angels to worship jesus!.

If you go to http://forms.familyradio.org/htdig/search.html and type in the keyword "angel," this location has a variety of topics about your comment. l agree with you that is he is not an angel. However the Bible refers to him as an archangel. So what do we do with this?

Firstly, as one uses scripture to teach scripture, one can see that (1) men are call angels, (2) Christ is call an archangel, and of course (3) there are real angels: angel-angels if you will. Going to the original Greek to help clear this up. An angel is a messenger. So I am an angel as a messenger of the gospel. John introduced Jesus's forthcoming to occur very soon after him, and John was called an angel (messenger) of the Lord. Men angels are used to gather in the harvest of wheat and tares (Matthew 13) during this end time by spreading the gospel while the time of the rapture is closing in rapidly (less than 31 months now), along with warning to others to come out of the churches. (Revelation 18:4)

Christ is the archangel in the sense that he is the "Chief Messenger." Christ is the chief messenger of the covenent which make a whole lot of sense. This is not saying he is an angel per se, for through him all angels were created.

I think the research about this would be very interesting--trying to actually prove the Babel account (language origins) through secular research.

Of course the Bible can not be proven merely using science, it can support it as it is able. Also, the Bible does not have to prove itself in every instance; however, the Bible explains how it is to be interpreted: verse upon verse, a little here, a little there. Then this is only done as God allows. During history and time, God has purposely kept people from knowing certain things until he decided to awaken them.

Faith with proper understanding is not something misled (regarding the tower of babel); however, this "proper understanding," if you will, is dependent upon mysteries unvailed to them that sleep. Sleeping here means they were did not know or understand. They awaken when God opens up the their minds as the Holy Spirit speaks from the Bible

it would seem like it as jesus infers that the son of man may not be him, as he addresses him in the third person.. .

jesus seals his with this verse; verily i say unto you, there shall be some standing here which shall not taste of death, till they see the son of man coming in his kingdom (matthew 16:28).. .

The book of Enoch has nothing to do with the Bible. It is not part of the holy canon of writing. For you to give attention and present Enoch as a viable information source is death dealing for you. Your attention to this type of source information makes you available for the plagues coming forth at the end time period soon to come forth.

Revelations 22 says,

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

You might as well be speaking in tongues, which also adds to the Bible...

How do civilizations "just go missing"?

the little stars *** are to show my comments on it along the way.. the vedas, the oldest texts of south asia, dating from some 3,500 years ago, made no mention of it, nor did the bible.

no pyramids or burial mounds marked the area as the site of an ancient power.

yet, 4,600 years ago, at the same time as the early civilizations of mesopotamia and egypt, great cities arose along the flood plains of he ancient indus and saraswati rivers in what is now pakistan and northwest india.
